[Updated ORIGEN-2 libraries can be accommodated without any modifications to the software, provided the basic structure of the libraries is not altered and the total number of radionuclides does not exceed 1100. The photon library may be selected to correspond to any one of the 3 forms available in ORIGEN-2, namely with no bremsstrahlung, water bremsstrahlung, or UO2 bremsstrahlung.]

Closed-form solutions for the differential equations of radioactive decay

Decay chains which include up to a maximum of 7 members, each member of a chain having the potential of decaying by a variety of transformations (negatron emission to the ground or metastable state of its offspring, positron emission or electron capture to the ground or metastable state of its offspring, isomeric transition, alpha emission, beta plus neutron emission, and spontaneous fission)

Printout of the decay chains associated with the progeny of any radionuclide

Computation and printout of the radioactivity and gamma spectrum associated with each individual radionuclide analyzed (parent nuclide or offspring), along with radioactivity totals and gamma spectra for the following:
All noble gases
All halogens
All radionuclides other than halogens and noble gases
All radionuclides encountered in the analysis
A user-specified mix of noble gases, halogens and others
Preparation of activity and spectral files for transfer to other software
